Xiao Se, a stingy innkeeper at Snowfall Villa, crosses paths with Lei Wujie, a skilled disciple of the Lei Clan who is new to the martial arts world. They decide to explore their surroundings together. During their travels, they meet a diverse cast of characters, including Wuxin, the young leader of Tianwaitian, Sikong Qianluo, daughter of the Spear Deity in Xueyue City, Tang Lian, the top disciple of the Tang Clan, and Ye Ruoyi, the General's daughter. As they get caught up in the complex conflicts of the martial arts and imperial court, they realize that everything seems to center around Xiao Se, who is struggling to maintain the inn while sporting an expensive fur coat. The group embarks on numerous adventures as they work together to seize the Golden Coffin, overcome obstacles, find the celestial mountain, battle the strongest martial artist in the world, and defeat countless troops. Along the way, Xiao Se's true identity is revealed and they learn that all their experiences are connected to a past throne battle that occurred twelve years ago.
