The myth surrounding the Qingluan mirror and Lican sword, which, while in the possession of their owner, are claimed to be able to unite the nation. The items that the Dragon Sect formerly held have been lost. The lone living maiden, Duan Mu Ling, receives the knowledge of the whereabouts of these relics before to the passing of the Dragon Sect leader. Her master warns her not to divulge the location to anybody for fear that the wrong hands could use it to wreak havoc. She poses as the niece of Si Kong's high official from the Northern Zhou Court in order to look for the missing mirror and sword after the death of her master.
