The storyline of the drama, "Master, Your Wife is AFK Again," is adapted from a unique novel by Da Ju Mao. It centers on the blossoming love story between two individuals, Lu Wanwan and Han Jingmo. Both are passionate gamers and actors who find success in both areas. Lu Wanwan's accidental slip in the game results in her crossing paths with Han Jingmo. Despite a rocky start, they begin a fascinating journey in the gaming world and later, in real life. While Lu Wanwan has always been an admirer of Han Jingmo's acting chops, they clash during a public appearance leading to an intense rivalry. However, their love for each other and mutual passion for acting ultimately brings them together and propels their careers to new heights.
