Zhou Ran withholds all of his funds from Nan Qiao's drone design business after their acrimonious breakup, which precludes other potential investors from backing the business. Zhou Ran had been cheating on her. Shi Yue makes the decision to invest in Nan Qiao's business after learning that she might be the reason he transitioned from being an aspirant soldier to being a gigolo and nightclub owner. Shi Yue, however, abandons his plans for retaliation after falling in love with Nan Qiao.
